Always an Original Creation, Expressions in Felt for 2008
Maggie has the ability to collect a sense of textures, to remember the curls of a little girl at the park,
and the subtle colors seen at a visit to the Renoir collection at the art museum. But it is a magical moment when all of these influences come together
and she begins the first steps of creating a new doll. Even when she is recalling
a story or rhyme from her childhood, Maggie's artistic talents always turn it into something that is her very own, always an original creation.
Collectors all over the world have come to appreciate Maggie's originality. This year's collection brings to them just that. For the very first time she
has designed for them a bride and a miniature trunk set. She has brought to them the romantic textures found in the petal skirt and the visual
illusions of silken overlays.
* Maggie's collectors are more than collectors, they are patrons, patrons of the arts that allow her to do what she loves most; make dolls.
