Home Sweet Home

Or maybe we should say 'Felt Sweet Felt'

Inside that quiet cape cod set at the edge of the woods Maggie sits in her studio creating something new...for her collectors.

Or should we say Patrons. For we view them as more than collectors.

They are Patrons of the arts.

Patrons that allow us to do what we love most.

Make dolls.

Inspired Again by Alice

Maggie's anticipation of the new Tim Burton movie starring Johnny Depp and her love of Alice inspired 'Painting the Roses Red.'

Simple Instructions...'Water the plants.'

When it comes to colors Maggie takes the rainbow and picks and chooses just the right shades. Here in 'Just add water' every shade was chosen to blend and accent perfectly...down to the stripes on the watering can.

In person, 'Just Add Water' will make you smile every time you glance her way.

Our Longwood Gardens Event

We opened out Longwood Gardens Event with a greeting from Ed Ferry of Happily Ever After here in Philadelphia. And then a wonderful tribute from a devoted fan, Glenn Lash, also from Happily Ever After, created this poem for Maggie.

Of course we had a 'flowery' time!

Beside the gardens and greenhouses, we created our own garden of collectors. Crossword and cryptoquote puzzles, flowery gifts for everyone, and the latest video from Emily entertained all.

Copy and paste this link:

and you will see the video Emily made to remember the event.

And be sure to save the date, June 26th 2010, for our next Event at Longwood Gardens.

A Mystery to be Solved

A mystery weekend unfolded, and there were roles to play, a 'doll-napping' and everyone was a suspect. Except 'Inspector Tony Holmes.'

Clues solved by the attendees, and finally discovering the real truth of who was behind the 'doll-napping' added to the weekend of great fun.

For the entertainment at the event a 'doll-mation' movie was shown that was produced by Emily Iacono, Maggie's daughter. 'Detective Dolly-The case of the Dollnapper' have everyone on the edge of their seats while Detective Dolly solved the case involving an evil villian and the sinister plans of none the less than the Three Bears!

If you would like to order a copy just email us at maggiemadedolls@verizon.net

Your doll clubs will love watching it at your next meeting.

All of our previous movies are available for purchase. Check out the link under 'What's New' to see a clip of them.
