Virginia
Always choosing the right colors Maggie brings you Virginia in rich shades of deep blush and coral blended with dark berry, periwinkle, and ivory. She stands before you ready for a summer’s day walk, the envy of the flowers along her path. With delicate stitching and embroidery, the detail of Virginia’s dress will delight your eyes and when you hold her you will feel the softness and warmth of her entire outfit. Maggie has carefully chosen each fabric for its texture and dyed it to stimulate the senses of sight and touch. Adding a trace of lace to adorn her sleeves and a felt bonnet keeps the sun at bay, Virginia waits at the garden gate. Upturned mohair braids frame her adorable face which just begs, ‘come with me.’ How can one resist?

A New Sculpture
Maggie has created a new little doll measuring 8 1/2" in height for collectors to love. Meeting the challenge of sculpting a tiny figure and keeping the signature poseability of Maggie Made Dolls, Maggie has given the new little wonders poseable joints in their necks, hips, shoulders, and elbows. They even have full poseability in their writs, thumbs and hands. A special metal mold was created by Tony to press the four tiny fingers into their little hands which gives then a truly lifelike appearance. Perfectly proportioned to be anyone's little sister, this new size will give the collector hours of enjoyment when they experience what a turn of the leg, or the raise of an arm can do to evoke the slightest emotion. And never forget, there's always room for an 8 1/2" doll in anyone's heart, not to mention their collection.

Margot
A petite 8 1/2 inch tall Margot inspires the memory of the times and colors of Pierre Auguste Renoir as he painted the world around through his masterful eyes. Maggie has taken the feel of his Le Garden dan la Rue Coutot with specially dyed fabrics to create Margot's outfit. The pale blue greens of her molded wool felt bonnet and blue green satin sash highlight her detailed cream colored dress. Along with these shades, the slight touches of poppy red and golden yellows bring the garden at Coutot alive in Margot's ensemble. The tradition of black tights and Maryjanes take this sweet little girl on a walk straight into your heart. Her brown eyes look at you with her strawberry blonde mohair softly covering her shoulders. Poised for the perfect picture, she stands in front of an eleven inch trifold screen covered in a fabric reproduction of a selected portion of Renoir's masterpiece.

Penelope
What begins with a vision in pink, Penelope takes you back to the time when you felt special in your new dress. The colors that fill the pond area of the park in Pierre Auguste Renoir's LaGrenouillere add the special touches to Penelope's outfit. The delicate floss embroidery along her ruffled skirt is mirrorred with a miniature floral design on her collar. The silk sash around her waist and large bow at the back make the pretty petite little girl in pink say, "I love the park in spring." A molded wool felt hat with a wide brim decorated with felt flowers completes the perfect picture. Her eyes are brown and her hair is blonde mohair. Her trifold Renoir screen is included. |
